Do parents pay anything?

No — never. Parents use Chalk for free forever. There's nothing to pay to view the schedule, follow game scores, RSVP, or chat with the team.

What is the service fee on payment collection?

A 5% service fee applies to payments collected through Chalk on all plans. Stripe processing (2.9% + $0.30) is included. This only applies when you collect payments through the app — scheduling, chat, and team management are always free.

What is field mode?

Field mode is a stripped-down practice runner built for the sideline. Step through your drill plan one card at a time, screen stays on, no distractions. It's the reason most coaches upgrade.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts. Cancel from your team settings. Your data is preserved for 30 days.

What sports does Chalk support?

Baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, lacrosse, flag football, hockey, and any sport with a team. Game Day scoring adapts to your sport.

How does payment collection work?

Chalk connects your team to a Stripe account via Stripe Connect. Money from parents goes directly to your Stripe balance — Chalk never holds funds.
